Absolutely spot on my lovely. Ty. 💝 Last week my eldest son got married, I was completely excluded. Other family member went, but not me . I did speak to my son a few days before the ceremony & saw a glimpse of the old him, but nothing more. This has been the worst week I’ve ever known. Truly horrific. Since last week I’ve heard a few snippets & my instincts told me to message my sons best-man (who is very pleasant toward me & I have known since he was 12). I didn’t ask him to intervene, I just wanted to present a few facts which have conveniently been glossed over. Of course they were! Today I did take back some control, which helped lots. Hearing you say ‘it’s not normal’ struck a chord. It isn’t! You’re right. I have to admit I can be a bit of a minx but I’m v v kindly & am a v supportive Mother. Last week when I spoke to my eldest son (to ask if he minded his younger brother bringing a gift to the wedding of all things!) I was tempted to say ‘ don’t worry, I’ll come to your second wedding!’. But I didn’t , I controlled myself lol. I have to start to laugh at all, I’ve cried far too much. Thank you again xxxxx 💝
