there's a disability saying that goes 'we don't need to make persons with disabilities compatible with the environment, we should make the environment accommodating and accessible to everyone'
I think this would help many people even those without disabilities

What i love about this is that Temple acknowledges that being challenged to learn to speak, then to follow etiquette and rules, while difficult, helped her in the long run to be self-sufficient and survive in an otherwise neurotypical world. Because realistically, we can try, but the world won't always accommodate those with certain needs. So her mother made sure that she understood that though she isn't less than others, she still needs to make an effort to work with the way of the world she lived in.

This scene makes me cry. The mom, the actress, she made it for me - seeing how nervous, scared, protective, and proud she was in this moment, she played it all so perfectly.

My babygirl is stage 1 and she’s the smartest little girl you’d ever meet! She’s 4 and can read almost anything she see’s! She started talking and telling me all her colors and letters at 7month old! She’s absolutely incredible but she struggles in ways others don’t understand. They don’t see her the way I do, yes she can talk and is super smart but still needs help and empathy. I’ll never stop fighting for my babygirl

Her mom’s reaction always get me. Knowing every struggle she had to push Temple paid off and realizing temple also recognized the importance and then appreciation…what a feeling that must have been ❤️
