So there are really two different things getting mixed together in this TikTok: * XRP Vend in the video: promotional vending machine demonstrating/marketing XRP. * Actual XRP-enabled crypto ATM: converts dollars/cash ↔ XRP and sends/receives XRP through a digital wallet. And there’s an important distinction for the bigger XRP story we’ve been following: more XRP-enabled ATMs would be evidence of increased retail accessibility, but they would NOT demonstrate that banks, SWIFT, or the international banking system have adopted XRP as their settlement rail. XRP’s actual network role is as the native asset of the XRP Ledger and it can act as a bridge between currencies/assets. So the TikTok headline “XRP ATMs are now appearing in locations worldwide!!!” is misleading in relation to the machine they’re showing. The machine pictured is not evidence of a worldwide rollout of XRP ATMs.
