The officers wife is correct every story has two sides but that doesn’t mean that side of the story justifies his actions. They entered private property that was clearly livestock without I repeat without permission or notifying the owner. Does she know what is typically in a pasture? Well it’s live stock, so yeah that donkey was exactly where he was supposed to be and in his environment that should have been safe for him. If my husband shot a miniature donkey out of fear, I would definitely fear what he would do to me if I was her. This story doesn’t make me angry at police officers, it makes me angry at A police officer. I seriously hope he is held accountable for his actions.

My question is, why did he need to go in that pasture? And why couldn't he go around it.. . yes, everyone has a job to do. But walking into an enclosure where animals are present, then, deeming your presence is a threat to them,seems suspicious.
