Buddy always tried to prevent it from being night time. He wasn’t always getting love at the end of the episode when it was still daytime. Maybe Bobby needed moonlight for happiness.

Bobby is probably dead, since at first he should be the main character, but because of Buddy's jealousy, he is not in the show. Benny was put in a well and forced to make requesits for the show (I feel terribly sorry for him)

Buddy prolly started getting more love and got stronger when he got more fans. he then over powered the blue unicorn and then trapped the yellow so that no one can get in his way. the 3 was prolly supposed to balance each other out and keep each other on check.
