My mother in law said in my first year of marriage, he can’t make you happy. You need to do that. Then we explored me going to school. My husband didn’t care what I did as long as I was pleased. He paid for school and 8 kids and 50 years later, we’re both still happy. He worked to take care of us and I stayed home to take care of us.

my husband personally does not play video games, but I find her saying she wanted to talk and instead of pausing the game, he moved one earmuff, disrespectful. Maybe he should own that.

Well he was wrong for not putting his wife ahead of a video game. If I’m playing Madden, and my wife came to me feeling neglected, my game is going off and I’m listening to how she is feeling. It may be valid or it may not be. But I’m at least listening.

I actually agree with you! Find your hobby! My man on the game.. I’m read a book watch a series go thrifting gossip on the phone with my sister I’m do what makes me happy! We can plan dates something we can do together. I will even buy a game we can play together. I agree Nate
