WHAT ACTUALLY MAKES YOU A “WEAK” VEGAN 🌱 Being a “weak vegan” isn't because you eat a vegan burger, pancakes, mac & cheese, or a donut. It's when the exception becomes your everyday diet. Some vegans eat the foods I’d personally enjoy once a week… every day. And the foods I’d save for an occasional indulgence… every day too. Yes, you can be vegan for the animals. Yes, you can be vegan for the environment. Yes, you can be vegan for health. But removing animal products doesn't automatically make your diet healthy. If most of your diet is built around highly processed convenience foods, desserts, fried foods, and restaurant meals, you may be missing out on the fiber, micronutrients, and overall nutrient density you’d get from building more meals around fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and quality plant proteins. But the opposite extreme isn't the answer either. You don't need to eat 100% whole foods, avoid every vegan burger, turn down dessert at every birthday, or feel guilty every time you eat something that isn't “clean.” That can turn healthy eating into something so restrictive that it's difficult to maintain or enjoy socially. For me, it's a lifestyle. 🥗 Build the majority around nutritious foods that support your health and goals. 🍔 Make room for the fun foods you enjoy. 🍩 And occasionally indulge without guilt and move on. You don't need perfection to be a healthy vegan. You need a way of eating you can enjoy, sustain, and actually live with. Comment “COOKBOOK” below and I'll show you how to make macro-friendly vegan meals that let you enjoy your food while still working toward your goals. 🌱💪🏾
