As a Tesla owner, I think many legacy automakers still don’t fully understand what they’re facing. This isn’t just a transition from gasoline cars to electric cars—it’s a shift toward software, AI, autonomy, and an entirely different way of designing and manufacturing vehicles. If traditional automakers can’t adapt quickly enough, some of them could end up like Nokia: once dominant, but overtaken when the industry changed faster than they did.
