Dreamfyre was the third-largest living dragon during the Dance of the Dragons—yet in the series, she’s the same size as Syrax 😂. She was slightly larger than Silverwing. Vermithor, in turn, was bigger than both of them (though not to the extent shown in the show). But really, I don’t know why this surprises or annoys me, given that Hess and Condal have already changed everything, ruined the source material, and fallen out with the author himself who detested what they did to his storysą

Dreamfyre deserves better, she spent 50 years flying and living on Dragonstone, where dragons grow fast, and even though she spent the rest of the time in the pit, she would still grow, just more slowly. What they did in the series with that dragon over 100 years old that broke a pit which had supported Balerion at his peak of 200 years was ridiculous.
