Do you mean put just the tomatoe in the sun or does it need to be on the vine?

Do you not have to wait for them to “blush” first?

Ha mine are still growing I’m not giving up hope! I had cut open a beef steak variety from the store and there were 4 little guys inside already sprouted with green leaves, so I stuck them in a pot.. 4 out of 3 and now I’m getting so many tomatoes! Southern Wv here so we will see

Do not put them on the windowsill. If the sun gets hot, it will burn the skin of the tomato, and you will lose your whole crop in the matter of seconds. Put them near the window, but not in Direct light of the sun to burn. Promise you if this happens to you you will want to cry when the whole crap that you grew. All summer has burnt skin and is garbage.
