NSW Police Force :
After receiving a call from a concerned member of the public about an emu running onto Cargo Road at Nashdale, an officer attended to find the bird creating a serious traffic hazard for both motorists and itself. Following a brief game of "catch me if you can", the officer successfully moved the emu away from the roadway before it could ruffle any more feathers or cause a collision. It's not every day you find yourself conducting traffic management for an emu, but that's policing. If you're looking for a career where every day brings something new, explore a future in the NSW Police Force! Link in bio 👆

🥰THIS IS A NORMAL PRACTICE FOR OUR COPPERS OVER HERE,ESPECIALLY IN COUNTRY TOWNS,😊MOST OF US AUSSIES TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN LOOKING AFTER OUR WILD LIFE,,😊 AND IF ANY ONE RUNS OVER THEM ,MOST PEOPLE WITH A HEART WILL STOP AND CHECK IF THEIR STILL ALIVE AND TAKE THEM TO A VET😊IF YOU HAPPEN TO KILL A KANGAROO ON THE ROAD,MOST WILL GET OUT AND CHECK THEIR POUCH TO SEE IF A LIVE BABY IS IN THERE🥰
