@hannahkrustykrab: Who else forgets messy meds when traveling? This organizer is my new go-to ✨ #TravelEssentials #TravelHacks #MedicineOrganizer #travelmusthaves
Better have your prescription label or you may wind up getting arrested. I do know someone who did get arrested for their pill organizer not having labeled ‘script meds.

Many countries require that the medication be in its original container with original labeling

You need to get labels from the pharmacy for the front of each pouch to protect yourself legally. Great idea, though!

And you also need to bring that little medicine holder with you in the carry-on. Never pack it into a suitcase because what if they lose your luggage?!

Except that it’s illegal many places to carry medication out of its packaging.

I don’t understand the people saying you need the labels… I’ve never traveled using labels and I’ve been fine - this is great for an intl trip I’m going on soon!!

Until you get caught with that and they have to go through and test every single one and put you in jail while waiting. No joke that literally happened to my sister.

We’ve traveled internationally. To save space, we do not want to carry on dozens of pill bottles. We sort pills morning & night. But first, I photograph the prescription bottle, with one pill, that has the code on the pill, that is legible. That way I can show security that each pill is a prescription med. It has worked & been accepted. Plus our names on the prescription match the name on our passport.

I've never traveled with labeled pills. I always take my ibuprofen, Tylenol, lisinopryl and famotodine. I like this.
