Women who defend Lindsay Clancy don’t realize that they may be setting themselves back. For years, men have argued that women should be kept out of certain decision-making positions because they are supposedly too emotional. Now, when some women defend her by saying that her hormones, emotions, or mental state led her to do what she did, those same arguments could come back to haunt them. Such arguments can be used to justify excluding women from positions of high trust and power by claiming that they are too emotionally unstable to make important decisions.

Why is this woman referring to postpartum psychosis as hormones? Hormones are what happens when we are on our period, whereas psychosis is a break on the brain that can affect anyone from any gender and at any age. This message is dangerous, I can't even listen to it in its entirety.
