But in order to follow some dress codes you have to buy more than three items (Blazers, ties, school PE shirts, school PE shorts) and then if it gets cold you have to buy your child yet two more items (warmer PE bottoms, warmer PE top)

Now remove the fines for taking kids on holiday. Only people with money could possibly support this. Both me and my partner have decent jobs, 2 kids and we can only afford term time holidays. Why is it fair that only the wealthy can have holidays these days because the majority of families can’t afford to go away unless it’s out of term-time. It’s not the child or parent’s fault we’re in a cost of living crisis and they shouldn’t have to miss out on holidays, memories and the family time that matters.
