I was in a bank while it was being robbed (talking with someone about opening a checking account for my daughter). I have ADHD- first I had no idea it even happened (my back was to the tellers). Second - when the bank employee got up (after the robber left) my daughter said “I think they’re calling the cops” my first reaction was “but I didn’t do anything wrong” - I was so locked in on being “normal” that I completely missed everyone else being on edge. I just assumed I wasn’t doing a good job of being “normal” 😂
