what people aren't realizing is unless there's a recognizable tattoo/birth mark, these people are mostly unidentifiable. These bodies have been beat to a point it's almost unrecognizable as human.

When you think a journalist should at least know the geography of his location. It is Nepal and China border.

A question for somebody smarter than myself.....Hindus believe that if someone isn't given the proper burial, cremation I believe that the soul may become a wandering spirit trapped and unable to move on to reincarnation. I saw where the local government is burying all the bodies in mass graves. I'm sure they're doing the best they can, but why couldn't they just hold a mass cremation ceremony? I'm not Hindu so I'm not sure but it seems that might ease the pain a bit...not thinking of your loved ones soul wandering around?

Imagine refreshing your phone every few minutes, just hoping to see your loved one’s name… 💔 What would you say to these families right now?

You don’t report on the scale of devastation. It’s good to hear that one countryman was located alive, but you should report on perhaps ten thousand people unaccounted for. Think about the proportion of things when reporting

If this one American was recently contacted then that would have to signify that there are others that are also alive. There’s no way that person could have just been alone and survived without the others.
