I contacted support to change my advance single booking from booking A to booking B but I accidently typed booking A twice and the customer service just cancelled booking A anyways 💀.

so much easier on Uber! they waived my £5 fee when I needed a refund too which I was so thankful for. the only downside for me is there's no open return option.

Tbh before ur updated caption, uber customer service is still great with getting a refund on non refundable tickets. I had last minute plans cancelled, told the agent the full story and they still gave me a refund. Did the same with Trainline/trainpal, they didn’t give a toss 🤷🏽♀️

If you want to change travel time you can just buy a new ticket (same departure and arrival point) for the new date and time. As long as you do it before your original travel time they’ll refund that one in full. I’ve done it loads now.

you realise all tickets that are refundable are full refund -£5 admin fee.

I take the train a lot and I pay £150 less every month booking with uber in advance , don’t use any other platform now, they are great

except you can cancel tickets bought through Trainline or any other retailer for a similar fee unless it's specifically an advance single, which is also true for uber
