This is why I dislike when people judge people who have to re-home. As a person who recently had to go on dialysis and currently waiting on transplant, I considered re-homing as I wasn’t sure what my future would look like since I can no longer work 🥺 Thankfully, I was able to keep my baby with me and he’s the best support. But everyone has different circumstances and it’s always better to re-home than abandoning them 🥺

This is sad. Each city should have a fund for low income vet care. A person shouldn’t have to decide between vet care and food. At the very least euthanasia for old/sick animals should be free for low income. So many people drop their dog off and that poor dog sits in a cage waiting to be put down instead of being held by its owner while passing. It’s just terrible. 😢
