Quick mea culpa: I mispronounced Persephone. I didn’t look up the pronunciation before filming because this is how I’ve always heard her name in my head when reading it. So, yes I got it wrong. I make mistakes. I am, in fact, a human being. Thank you to everyone who kindly corrected me and to those who will correct me with significantly less kindness… I hope your day gets better. 😂

As a Greek, it’s okay that you’re mispronouncing, but keep teaching. I’m a psych major and psychology literally translates in Greek to study of the soul - Americans have forced this study away from the soul into the mind and measurable data, which is fine, but because of this we’re neglecting a huge part of existence. These stories keep me grounded and not enough people know them.

I think the pronunciation is Per Sef On Ey. But I could be wrong. I'm not ancient Greek. I love her story and also find Medusa's one touching as well . Also Persephones mother Demeter . Love my Greek Mythology.
