Even 7% mortgage rates are low historically speaking. The first house I bought way back in the day the rate was close to 15%.

It's also causing the collapse of the Japan Yen Carry Trade which will eventually crash the stock market. So not only will we have high interest rates, all of our 401ks will be vaporized.

well it don't really matter to me because my mortgage is set for the next 2 years and then my property will be paid off all 1,500 acres my bonds. I'm not selling yet. I'll hold on to them for a few more years

guess what else went wild, outsourcing which killed the US manufacturing. 6% mortgages are a normal rate. 5,6,7 % are normal mortgage rates. 3,4 % are an anomaly.
