@antonia_investing: You might be about to delete a text from HMRC worth checking twice. From this month, HMRC is writing to around 1 million people, mostly women, who may have missed out on pension top-ups simply because of how their old workplace scheme worked. The average payment is around £53, some are owed more. If you earned under £12,570 in a year while paying into a pension, this letter might have your name on it. Don't assume it's spam. HRMC sent my a check for a £5 refund, I framed it and hung it on my wall. A few years later I got another £135 this one i cashed.
