That first walk down to the paddock. The excited greetings. The soft “hello beautiful” moments. The feeling of being surrounded by the souls who know you without needing a single word. I missed them more than I can put into words. And apparently… they had a LOT of energy to burn off while I was gone! 🤣🐎💨 Because after all the cuddles and quiet moments came the bucking, jumping, zoomies and general paddock chaos. 😂 This is why I call them my herd of heart horses. They aren’t just horses to me. They are home and sometimes coming home isn’t a place….
