You inspired us all in one way or another. My story is that you were my role model growing up & you always have been even now as an adult at almost 50 years old. I wanted to follow in your footsteps & to be as kind, loving, caring, compassionate, & give as much as I could. You helped shaped me into the person I am today & I am forever grateful for that. I know you’re up there with Carl, your mama daddy, & all the loved ones who’ve went before you. I know y’all are having a good ole time up there. God Bless you Dolly for leaving such a wonderful legacy & your music will forever be cherished in our lives & hearts. Every time we see a beautiful butterfly 🦋 we will know that’s you Dolly telling us to keep going & not give up. You will be telling us to believe & accomplish our dreams no matter how far fetched they may seem. You will always be our Queen of the Smokies here in Tennessee & everywhere. Most of all, you will be a special guiding light helping us stay on that path that leads to our future endeavors & passed down to our children for years to come. Thank you Dolly for being that special inspiration for me all those years ago, to all the countless others that you’ve done the very same for, even yet today, & always.
