Our '12 Camry started using oil at 180k miles. Roughly a quart every 3k miles. We quit using 0w20 and switched to a heavier weight and it stopped the oil consumption. That 0w20 oil is water and newer Toyota's use even a lighter weight. As long as we continue using crap thin oil, we will keep burning it.

07-09 are the ones that burn oil… you can always go to the Toyota website and enter the VIN number to see if it was replaced on the recall…. still a good one if you can keep up with the oil… i got an 07 with 250k and 09 le 150k … just gotta keep an eye on the oil

I got 2011 and got me to 245k and still can kept going but blew a head gasket .. I was so happy with it .. I still have it and about to fix it and sell it .. but I did get a new 2026 Camry and love it .. best cars out there !

You’re not even showing the 2.4 in the video lol. The 2.5 at the beginning is the current one. 2nd is the older 2.5.

02 Camry le, have the burning oil. just keep check the levels keep it topped up. mine at 282k

I have an 04 camry and yes she burns through a lot of oil. You've got to replace the valve cover gasket often to help with part of that. Plus my car has over 343,000 miles and still going. I love my car and will keep it forever
