it's really interesting 🤔 to me because japan is basically doing what the west is doing to immigrants from the global south, many westerns are moving to Japan for better life quality and Japan is tightening the laws for political agenda, the same what western countries doing 🤔 really interesting

Question(s), if you dont have visa to own a home, how do you even pay taxes? Also, how do you 100% sure about your ownership? Like, if immigration at some point did not let you in, do you think your estate that you "own" is always be yours?

I went to the bank today and there was foreigner next to me she didn’t speak Japanese and the staff was yelling at her like bitch she isn’t def she just can’t speak Japanese 😔

So does owning property in Japan allow you to stay in the country? You mentioned that you don’t need a visa to own property but if you own property and don’t have a visa, how could you maintain your property?

A fear of mine is that I will buy a property and then they will change the rules even more against foreigners. possibly even strip our rights to our own homes. Japan is becoming more and more conservative.
