You know what hurts the most? It’s the fact that I had to rebuild myself in secret while they moved on like nothing happened. I’m not even mad anymore, I’m just... tired. Forgiving them isn't about letting them off the hook, it's about telling myself that I don't deserve to keep reliving the trauma.

I thought I forgave them already, but apparently I did not, I can’t. I just learned to accept what had happened but everything that has been said and done will always be itched to my heart and soul.

idk, it’s just so confusing. sometimes i want to forgive them because i just want peace, but sometimes i remember everything that happened and i just can’t do it. i want to let go, but i’m still angry. i want to move on, but a part of me is still stuck thinking about why they had to hurt me like that. i’m tired of feeling this way, but i don’t think i’m ready to forgive them yet.
