It consists of 1038 pieces and costs 99.99 USD / 99.99 EUR / 419,99 PLN. What I like: * Wallace and Gromit look fantastic! Their shapes and expressions translate surprisingly well into LEGO bricks * There are some really clever uses of existing LEGO elements throughout the model. Flower petals are used to create the motorcycle’s fuel tank, while parts like spoons and cups are incorporated into the engine * Gromit’s goggles are brilliant - the transparent lenses actually magnify his eyes and make the expression even more convincing * A new dedicated eye element was created for the set, giving Wallace and Gromit those characteristic bulging eyes. It makes a huge difference and helps the models look much closer to the original characters * The final model was effectively redesigned from scratch compared with the original fan submission. LEGO changed the scale, which meant the entire construction had to be reworked * I also really like the choice of the motorcycle and sidecar from A Close Shave. It makes the whole display much more dynamic What I don't like: * I wish the sidecar could transform into the little airplane like it does in A Close Shave.
