Rejecting the bifurcation was a huge mistake, especially with the media circus. Neither side thought that it would be necessary to focus on whether or not she did it anyway. That opened a gateway for conspiracy theories, that I'm almost certain that members of the jury are aware of.

I'd love to know why people think the legal defence of not guilty by reason of insanity exists, if not for cases like this? Truly, why does it even exist if not for people in psychosis? She did it, she was insane, and she needs to be in a mental institution equipped to handle her. It's insane to me that this is even a conversation

If it’s declared a mistrial and they try her again, where the hell are they gonna find another 18 possible jurors who know nothing about this case?? It seems impossible at this point.
