I don’t blame y’all. The bite force on spotted hyenas is nothing to shake a stick at. You’d be in for a lot more than puncture wounds. You’d probably end up with crushed bones.

Not to mention that a hyena "mistake" could/would be physically horrific for Rick. They are capable of things that very few mid sized animals on earth can even get in the conversation about.

Echo was not hand feed by Rick since infancy. Echo is still a good boy, but still more feral than Banshee, and Hyena's can literally shatter a bone to get the marrow out. If something happens then the boys would get seized and typically put down, and Rick unfortunately would suffer severely from injuries. It could cost them everything. Better let's not and know that everyone is safe and thst they can continue. I lived through the most popular animal attack ever and sadly that Lion lost it's life, and it wasnt actually trying to maul it's owner it was a freak accident that lost them both their lives.
