Your assertion is true, Baba stood his ground and never compromised, even when he joined the government side, it's always after election and it was all in the best interest of his country, that was patriotism. However, in retrospect,that could be the reason why Baba was never the president of Kenya. the people we purport to protect and sacrifice a lot for, are not honest themselves ,they throw you under the bus when you need them most.
