When I find Hoyo... I swear I'll make them give the buff he deserves. Honestly, though, since I've loved him for three years, I'd never abandon him. I've been maining him for three years and I still use him. (And I finally got his friendship card. I know it's in Spanish because that's my native language, by the way, but just in case, there was a time when I stopped playing Genshin, which is why it took me so long to raise our friendship level.)

late buffs are more better tbh, because they tend to get more better damage and kits than characters that got buffed more early, his multipliers will be a lot more than the current buffed characters on top dps
