let me now give you the same analysis you brought up about family, imagine you are the father, with ur wife nd three children, you left home in the morning giving out what you get for upkeep to ur wife, only for you to come in the night and the children still complain they re not getting any, the following day despite arguments with ur wife, you wake the eldest among the children to give him or her what they can to sustain themselves after giving ur wife her own part as well, only for the remaining 2 children to be shouting around the neighbourhood about your carelessness and ur nonchalant attitude because you re not providing as you are supposed to for the family, the question now is " must you now wake the rest of the children as well because you want them to know you re providing or what?should we as the neighbours start addressing you with what you were frame with by ur children, or you as the provider, what will be ur next action, because you were only talking about what gdp the country get claiming its on paper, but failed to mention where actually the president is taking action to touch the life of the people out there, I'm not saying he's the messiah, all I'm saying is people like you can't just turn a blind eye to what he has done and claim he's doing nothing, if you are blaming or faulting his government, atleast you do with due diligence

your analysis is wrong , growth comes before stability and employment follow suit. it takes time for citizens to start to see the impact. it cannot be done under 3yr considering that the economy has fallen in to depression 3 times in the last 8yrs.

I do enjoy your content. However, I believe you should have made 2 different videos addressing your contentions in this post. Balancing the ledger, 2 things can be true at the same time. While the Government is taunting their achievements, there are still many big holes left to be filled for the citizenry to feel improved in their personal lives and there is no amount of positive data points that would make an hungry man feel’s life is better when he has no food. However, at an intellectual level, we should recognize that It takes time for structural changes to bleed into people’s lives especially in a nation like Nigeria that have weak institutions for policy implementation. This government has been in power for 3 years and in my opinion gets an overall pass mark in their macroeconomic policies. More needs to be done of course to improve the day to day experiences of the common man. Also while we at it, we need to pressure the subunits of the country to respond with effective management of the resources in their domains. Kids being out of school in Zamfara or Osun for example using one of your data substance is mostly the fault of state governments who have recently been financially empowered to care for their citizenry. While we must relentlessly put pressure on the federal government to be more responsive to the people’s needs, we must also be laser focused on residual responsibilities which is where most of the functions that directly affects people’s lives domains.

Firstly you have to analyze the effects of gdp on an economy and it’s benefits you analogy about a father having a growing business on paper and his children not benefiting from it is wrong. If you have 100 children and you are trying to stabilize your business just like Nigeria in a given period of time you might record a growth in the business and won’t still show on your children, incentive can be introduced when things are stabilized you all should always consider the populations and time on your analysis.thank you
