This depends on a few factors such as where and what tissue you've torn: If it's higher up the hamstring into the proximol tendon, partly avulsed, if it's in the middle of the muscle belly, if it's in the intra-muscular tendon, T- Junction, a combination of above. Hou can get secondary issues that could be causing pain, like ischeal bursitis or scar tissue from a tear irritating the sciatic nerve, so you want to differentiate between these and see if its these or the original hamstring injury.
Secondly what rehab you've done (have you loaded it gradually and heavy enoguh) and what your consistency was/is like with it. Some of these injuries I mentioned can take 3-6months with everything perfect from rehab point for view anyway.
Since only RDLs hurt I don't think your in the worse position. I wouldn't rush for a scan and definitely wouldn't rush for surgery as they can have moved results on hamstrings.
You should see someone face to face if not to assess for all the above and build you a specific rehab program.
Hope that helps!

I’d recommend going for a scan if possible, you could still have a minor tear which sometimes can heal very slowly (especially if you’re back training) some tears require minor surgery to properly fix
