@stabilo.cabut.bulunya: Sometimes, the road belongs to someone else. A lioness and a male lion were resting along the road when two elephants approached. The lions noticed them and quietly moved away. What happened next was perhaps the most interesting part. The second elephant stopped. It looked towards the direction the lions had taken and remained there for a moment, seemingly attentive to their presence. Then, satisfied enough to continue, it turned back to the road and followed the other elephant. It lasted only a short while, but encounters like this reveal something fascinating about being on safari: the landscape is constantly being shared, negotiated and understood by the animals living within it.
