Using the clearly documented figures, the JLP can be credited with at least 254–273 schools from the 1944–55 and 1960s programmes alone, depending on whether the 1960s figure of 166 or 185 is used. However, that is not the total for every JLP government, because it excludes a reliable numerical total for the Seaga years and later JLP administrations. If you want, I can research the records from 1944 to 2026 and calculate the most defensible total number of schools actually built by JLP governments, separating new schools from expansions/repairs.
