Conversations on the course are way worse than this ad.

I don’t think anyone actually thinks that Good Good supports domestic violence/that’s not why they’re the ones being dragged through the mud in this situation imo. Somebody just needed to put the hand up and say “our bad, we’ll do better and we support our Good Good Girls wholeheartedly, shown by our $x donation to whatever charity” and a lot of this would’ve gone away, but instead, their response was the weak statement, Garrett’s rambling video, and the CEO being defensive on X. I’m not surprised other gold brands saw their floundering as a business opportunity - that’s capitalism.

You see, it’s not even so much that the ad makes you think the entire brand supports DV, it’s that they thought an ad that displays violence against women was FUNNY. That it was acceptable. That maybe you, the viewer, might also find it acceptable, and that’s the problem. And maybe next time you see violence against women, you think it’s more common, or more acceptable, or god forbid, funny.

The fact that no one in this entire process that that ad was a bad idea is nuts

The public reaction to this ad was because the public already has this perception of golf. I don’t feel you get it fully.

The fact yall keep pointing the finger to Good Good and not Callaway is wild. It’s basically the bigger name saying here money to a foundation so we are good while a group of people were following direction yet have to take the fall. Anywho the more you talk about something the more they get exposure.

I stopped watching good good awhile back as there was a horrible stink of MAGA coming from them.

I can tell you this as someone who runs a golf course and has been in the industry for a decade now I've never had the regional manager of a golf company call me like Callaway did today

my whole thing with the ad regardless of how you feel about it is its objectively a bad ad because it tells me nothing about the driver

If that’s how their CEO acts I’m sure Calloway was probably looking for anything to get out of that arrangement

conspiracy theory -- Callaway actually wanted to end their partnership with good good, so they "helped" make this video to get a good excuse to break ties

No one talking about the Callaway stock dip at the same time they’re buying back their own common stock?!?! Interesting. 🤔

The only reason the girl was in the ad in the first place was because they decided to create a new account specifically for girls golf. If the girls channel was never made, it would’ve just been one of the guys getting hit
