Old fleet is terrible you spend the flight staring directly at a stranger !! Still better than the BA forwards/backwards cabin - awful. Middle Eastern airlines have wiped the floor with them.

All these comments are negative lol but just for a controversial opinion. I assume you are flying on one of Virgin Atlantic’s older aircraft like a 787? If you was flying on one of Virgin’s newer aircraft like the A350s or A330neos you would get the upper class suites as advertised in the pictures. And would like to put out to all those who say BA is better… A lot of the older BA 777 first class seats he similar negative feedback/reviews. I hope this helps

I went to the club house had 3 beers and on the 3rd one the watress said dont you think thats a lot im like amazing paid over 5k to get attacked 😅

Got this for £2200 for me and my partner to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago personally thought it was worth it compared to normal long haul first class prices

This is business class and is being phased out. You can look up the aircraft configuration before booking. Also you paid a premium. Assuming you didn’t book in advance. You can get it much cheaper. Just a quick look and I’ve just found it for £3300 return.

You must’ve gone during the school holidays I’m assuming given the price. I once did LHR-LAX in upper class for around £2.2K and that was on the newer fleet that has a much better upgraded seat design

Lounge is good, however the cabin crew on upper are not good for the price you pay, having just gone from LH to ORLANDO I was amazed by no drinks being offered for other an hour so I went to find the cabin crew to ask for a drink and located 5 of them behind the curtain sitting down having a talk 😳
