Because the bottle might topped and fall downward to lower level where happens before . That's why they doesn't allowed bottle to be place on table at upper level sitting .

Nowadays all the stupid rules fm coffee shops, so stressful to dine at coffee shops, better boycott Sembawang coffee shop & let them closed down, that’s why I don’t dine in Spore foodcourts, coffee shops, hawker centres anymore, I go jb every weekends to spend my money & dine there happily there without any stresses

Finally this kind of unreasonable rules is getting challenged. It is understood that the stall owners wanna make money by prohibiting outside food and drinks to be consumed at their premises. However if customers have already bought some food from the stalls, why couldn't they even drink their own drinks. To be honest, even if you dun allow them to drink their own drinks, they won't spend an extra dime to buy a drink from you...

This is totally wrong. Even if he has a banner stating “no outside drinks allowed”. NEA please comment. Customers have the right to place their belongings on the table. The shop owner cannot throw them away.

For me, I bring a small bag and put the bottle in it and leave it on the table. The coffeeshop owner cannot remove it I guarantee it. If he open the bag, then sue him.😆😆😆😆😆😆

Owner can just tell the customers to leave. He has the right to do so. Because that’s his stall. No need to quarrel or argue. If this no standard customers refused to leave, can at least ignore them or better still, call the police. As simple as that.

few wks ago my daughter bought BBT then we sat at the jolibee outlet to eat dinner . the staff wasn't happy and keep asking if we were to take away or dine in . he tell us no outside food. then we saw he told another family - where they are seen with a cup of tapao teh put on the table then the father goes to order food. again the staff ask the same thing .. we really put off with this and decide to take away instead .. restaurant still alot of seat actually ..

They didn't bring soft drink or coke right? Remove their personal bottle is way too much. Maybe the bottle is for their high BP medication after meal how? Should 1 eye open 1 eye closes for elderly folks. Customer service fail.
