As an old lady now, 56, when I say focus on yourself or I wish I had done this that or the other, it is to say, become authentically you, focus on your own self-confidence. Build yourself up so that you are not looking for validation or justification in outside influences or people or partner. You can’t fill from an empty glass. Your 20s are the best time to do this. Much better BEFORE a spouse and kids because that is when the self-giving is at its zenith. If there is nothing there to give, nothing authentic, you will find yourself at 39 asking ‘now what?’

You're absolutely right, I'm 33. I got sick when I was 13 so I never got to go out on a date cuz I was in the hospital a lot but the only thing I always wanted was some until I'm 33 now still single cuz of my health. my life is over basically without even finding love. I know what you mean the joy to find someone so I ever wanted
