Having a hung jury should prove there’s ’reasonable doubt’ 😭

Given how huge this case has been; if it goes to retrial, how on earth are they going to find a jury who do not have some sort of preconceived idea/bias. That is going to be insanely difficult.

If I am a juror, I'm not changing my mind to come to a unanimous decision. My decision is my decision and I will stand on it

If it takes this long to find guilt. Then there is obviously reasonable doubt.

The whole process is wild. You’re basically bullying the jury to change their decision, while pretending to respect their decision.

The fundamental flaw in the American Justice system’s “jury of one’s peers” is that so many Americans are so unconsciously biased on so many things that they cannot be trusted to make objective determinations in a court of law. For example, a juror with internalized (and unconscious) misogyny will see the facts of this situation radically different than a juror who does not have internalized misogyny.

Love the fact how this entire case is based on what Patrick SAID! The investigation was effed! Because there wasn't one!

The problem in this case is even if she did it or not, the investigation was really no investigation at all. To find someone guilty you have to say that based on the facts you know she is 110% guilty. Due to the lack of evidence, I really don’t see how anyone can come to that conclusion.

They’re definitely deadlocked because there’s too much reasonable doubt for a straight up guilty verdict.

People in these comments “HOW CAN THEY NOT COME TO A DECISION!?.” Literally look at these comments and realize, of course they can’t. Look how polarized it is in here. There are like 4 theories, people who STILL don’t understand being innocent is not an option, people who dispute or disregard “reason by insanity” even an option. I knew it was going to be a hung jury.

Respect for others opinions when it's literally a murder case? Yeah I don't think so. If my fellow juror is being ridiculous I won't respect that. Not when someone's life is literally hanging in the balance. I won't be bullied by the other jurors or by the judges instructions. None of it will make me change my mind after I've paid close attention to all of the evidence
