😅 You do you. lol. I fully enjoyed my time on ASE. Loved it... but I wanted to continue to enjoy the franchise and when our favorite maps began to break, mod authors began to leave, and the story continued elsewhere? We left. And it wasn't a matter of playing official, I gave up that beast years ago. I host two maps for my friends and I. We could have stayed... but... ASA is just easier. We have had far fewer mod issue, we can better crossplay with other friends, loading is faster, and unlike ASE, I have yet to have one map die off with corrupted files. Would I have preferred they just fix and update ASE? If it were possible, yes. But I am happy with the game as is. I will never forget the fun had on ASE, but it is over for me. And for those who want to keep at it? Wish you all the best.
