A photo of Billy Burke hangs at the end of the bar at 11th Street bar. He also lived in the same building I did. His neighbors put a photo of him and a little bit about him in the elevator every year.

Just finished watching your entire series. You are so strong and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your story. I’m from Wisconsin but my home town manufactured many of the fire trucks that were destroyed and seagrave actually drove out many fire trucks to NYC right after the attack for aid. Everyone worked tirelessly to help get trucks build and sent out the months following.

I was 20 on that day, walking my way to work and saw flight 11 and remember thinking how that plane fly so so slow, will never forget that fateful day. It was so horiffic. My heart broke that day.💔

I always remember seeing it on tv in Dublin Ireland. I had never heard of the twin towers until that day. I remember thinking ‘This can’t be real, where is superman’ that’s how surreal it felt to me here. Thank you for sharing your experiences. This came all the way to my FYP in Germany. I was still in school when it happened, it was afternoon for us and I remember coming home from school and wanting to watch Star Trek on TV. I sat in front of my TV and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Thank you for sharing your stories and experiences. I feel the whole world changed back then, and we still feel it today. ❤️
