Interesting. It didn't help me even loose 10 pounds and still had the same pain. 🥺

I lost half my body weight with gastric sleeve surgery. It actually made my pain worse. I believe all the fat that I had held my back together.

I absolutely love you and all the information you share with us! It helps knowing you can relate to me. I started GLP mounjaro about a month ago lost 15 pounds so far! I have noticed not as much stiffness and inflammation a bit lower with pain but not gone. I will some better then none! I am going to track it now that you suggested to compare. I have fibromyalgia, back problem, hip issues and got my knee replaced 8 months ago. Thanks again for all your info shared! 😊

I have RA, PsA, and Fibro. My rheumatologist suggested zepbound almost 2 years ago. Within a couple of months my pain improved drastically. For the first time in 15 years my inflammation numbers were in the normal range. I haven’t felt this good in 25 years.

It greatly helped my knee pain. I had severe rib pain this spring. Then had to go off and on three times. I’m currently in the worst flare of my life. I’m in bed most days for two months. Never had this before. Just diagnosed with heds and rediagnosed with fibromyalgia. I think a piece of this flare is the weight and muscle loss. I’ve been on it for over 2.5 years now. Lost close to 70 lbs. Once I’m feeling better and my pain is controlled I’ll be strength training as able. I’ll add a simple range of motion test sent me into this flare with severe si joint pain. I’m happy to talk more about my experience with you too.

I've been on ozempic for about 2 years now and have lost over 115 lbs. My fibromyalgia and chronic pain have definitely been better and I'm able to do more things physically but I just figured it was due to the weight loss. I do still have my flares and they actually seem to be even more random now than before I started taking the ozempic.

Not tried the GLP1, but i have lost about 30kg in the past 7-8months.. And it has had zero effect on my pain.. Though i have abdominal pain, but they cant figure out why.. 😩.. Did not loose the weight willingly, i have a hard time eating (functioning at all really bc of freeze/fawn response and exhaustion from the pain), with that said i am now within the normal weight for my height.

sooooo ... I swear my body hates me.🤣 I've been on Mounjaro for a year (probably). it helps my diabetes IMMENSELY!! I was very insulin resistant. I was on a TON of insulin. but now, I'm on a FRACTION of what I was. however - I've lost ZERO (0)pounds 😳. none. zip. zilch. zero. and my pain has stayed the same. I've had 5 back surgeries, I have fibromyalgia, and Inflammatory Polyarthropathy. so why am I the odd ball????? 🫪🥺

I’ve been on Ozempic for 3 years due to diabetes. I also have psoriatic arthritis. I notice a big difference in my pain/inflammation levels when I’ve had to stop the glp-1 for medical procedures.

Sorry to say, but that has not been the case for me. I’m down 95 pounds with Mounjaro and my diabetes is great! But it hasn’t been at all helpful with the pain sadly.

Wegovy made me so sick. It helped my pain and inflammation but the side effects were just too much. Only took one shot and 3 months later I’m still not back to my baseline. I was so disappointed. 😞

yeah it's almost like weight has never been a pure causative factor in obesity-associated conditions! like it's just one piece of information and there's a whole individual with myriad other factors going on!

I went from migraines 3 times a week down to twice in a month, my pain was much easier to manage. I lost weight, but not fast, and I noticed an increase in anhedonia. I wish I could be on it all the time, but I simply cant afford it.

GLP absolutely helped my pain. I was told I needed a knee replacement at the age of 48. Now yes I’ve lost 68lbs but the pain started to go away after just 1 month on the medication. Now after a year and half on it I’m hiking mountains for fun again and have zero pain. I will be on this for life🎉 beast health decision I’ve ever made.

I was able to use a glp-1 for about a year before I became ineligible. I never felt better than when I was on it. Everything you state was a huge improvement. I have psoriatic arthritis. I meet no criteria to be eligible for insurance coverage. It’s depressing

My pain laughed in its face. I lost like 75lbs on them. I took both, tirzepatide longest and pain is still awful.
