The introduction of this pressing defender progressively challenges the receiver to protect possession and turn away from defenders using different turning techniques. Organisation: 🟡 Set up two identical stations with two cones placed approximately 10 metres apart. Players start with a ball at one cone, with a single player positioned at the opposite cone. 🟡 The ball carrier passes to the player at the opposite cone and immediately follows the pass to apply semi-active defensive pressure while the receiver performs the required action. 🟡 The pressing player then becomes the receiver, with roles alternating continuously throughout the practice. Task progression: 🟡 Double turn — feint in one direction before turning and accelerating in the other.
