@itshalliegeorge: It wasn’t until my best friend of 6+ years told me on FaceTime that she had NEVER seen my natural hair that I realized horrible that was! I literally had to tell her, “girl… my hair is naturally curly” and she was like WHAT?? She genuinely thought my hair was naturally straight 😭 The truth is, I hated my curls. I thought they looked messy, they were always frizzy, and I had no idea how to actually take care of or style them. So I just… didn’t wear them. EVER She challenged me to wear my hair natural for two weeks and actually give my curls a chance. So I did. 🥹 And somewhere in those two weeks turned into me learning my hair, figuring out what works for it, and actually falling in love with my curls.
