My thoughts went immediately to his family, because I know what it feels like to stand there when hope is like a discharged battery… barely 1% left. ❤️And how beautiful it is when, at that moment, hope has a name. In their case, Professor Fitzpatrick. In mine, over the years, it has had the names of many wonderful and dedicated vets who did everything they could for the little souls I love. Sometimes they give us the miracle we are desperately hoping for, and sometimes, despite everything, they cannot. But I will never stop being grateful to the people who dedicate their lives to trying. For the knowledge, the compassion, the fight… and for keeping that last 1% of hope alive. 🙏🐾❤️

you have a huge heart there I've seen you with your mum U both have a lot of love for Ur mum .
