I just came across a post where a woman was rushing to cook for her husband before a girls night out and in the comment section there were arguments. Few women said why won’t he cook for himself? Many women said ‘why I no go cook for man wey dey clear all my bills?’ Some other women said I will cook oh and after that I will ask for money to go out and he will give me enough’ They all attached their reasons to money and then I asked because I was genuinely curious … what if I don’t need his money? What if I have more than him ? Would I still need to rush to cook for him before a girl’s night? Women’s respect for their partner is somehow always attached to provision. What happens when I don’t need him to provide?
