I’m praying for you, stranger. 🤍 This came up on my For You page, and seeing you share your story made me want to share something that happened in my own family because I want you to know that you are not alone. All three of my sisters were molested when they were children, and my dad was the one who caught what was happening. One of my sisters was only 6 years old when it happened. She was so young and scared, and after what happened, she went into a room, locked the door, and cried. My dad eventually realized what was happening and when he caught the person trying to hurt my sisters, he immediately stepped in and told him to get out of our house. My dad never played around when it came to his family. He was extremely protective of his children, and when he saw something wrong, he stood up for us without hesitation. There were also other times when he witnessed inappropriate behavior toward my sisters and even a very young child in our family, and he stepped in when he saw it. Even though my dad passed away almost 10 years ago, I will always remember how fiercely he protected his family and how he made sure the person who hurt my sisters was no longer welcome around us. I’m sharing this because I know everyone has their own story, and sometimes seeing someone else speak about their experience can remind you that you aren’t the only one who has been through something painful. I’m praying for you, stranger, and for everyone who has experienced something like this. 🤍 You deserve to be heard, supported, and surrounded by people who protect you and believe you. 🫂🤍
