Yall don’t even understand how badly Buggy was nerfed for the plot. He has a stronger will than Mihawk/Croc, he was raised with Shanks (obviously they trained), and his devil fruit makes him unkillable with haki. Just think about him awakening his DF? Hes slicing up Imu.
