Remember anti seize isnt a lubricant! Use something else on the pins themselves or nothing at all to avoid getting all the brake dust mixed up with the lube

I'll never forget when the regs came out on the trailer reflective striping and that the time we had about 400 trailers at Lexington cartage in about 320 of them did not have the striping. The general manager was not all there in the head and he tried to put an impossible goal on me giving me a year to get 320 trailers striped with the reflective tape. well not only did I achieve that goal with the help of several people but I did it well ahead of his year time frame and as soon as that was accomplished he started in on me really hard trying to get rid of me but being the chauffeur for WT Young helped quite a bit and finally one day David Black told me that if I kept driving for the old man he was going to fire me. I tried to handle it myself but it became impossible so I finally had to let the old man know what this guy who was his general manager for the truck company was trying to do to me. I'll just say it did not end well for him. I have never understood people who give you something to do and then try to obstruct you just because they don't like you personally and this all goes back to high school with Mr Black.

I’ve always been told anti-seize is abrasive and it should not be used as a lubricant. It will actually cause where. I understand the sleeve is being driven in, but the pin moves.
